The Spainish company Duro Felguera awards Goizea the supply of pipe supports for the Aconcagua Cogeneration Plant.
This is a "turnkey" project for the installation of a cogeneration plant, designed by Idom engineering, and integrated by a natural gas turbine with 77 megawatts power and a boiler with a steam production of 125 tons / hour.
The plant will supply all the steam produced and 35 megawatts of electrical energy to the refinery, while the surplus will be injected into the Central Interconnected System of Chile. In this way, emissions will be rteduced and no additional water consumption will be required to the one already used by the Aconcagua refinery, which supplies most of the fuels consumed by the Metropolitan Region.
With this new award, Goizea strengthens its relationship with Duro Felguera after the last supplies made for the New Chilca project in Peru.
