Goizea will supply the pipe supports for the Combined Cycle Plant Vuelta de Obligado in Argentina.
The construction of the gas-fired Vuelta de Obligado power generation facility in Argentina will be done by Duro Felguera, in conjunction with General Electric (GE) and the local company Fainser, on a turnkey contract basis. The project has been sponsored by the company Central Vuelta de Obligado (CVOSA).
The plant at Timbúes, located in the San Lorenzo department and 340 kilometres to the northeast of Buenos Aires, is additional to the General San Martin Plant that was inaugurated in June 2010 and constructed by Duro Felguera. The new installation will guarantee power supplies to the worlds most important production centre of vegetable oils.
The scope of works for Duro Felguera includes engineering, supply of BOP equipment, civil work, electrical and mechanical construction, assembly and commissioning.
With this contract, Goizea adds a new project to the long reference list with Duro Felguera, after significant projects as Djelfa (newly awarded), Carrington orTermocentro.
